We only collect the details you choose to send us. We use them to reply to you and to do the work you ask for, and we never sell them or add them to marketing lists.

Who we are

SBMS Consultancy Services is a North West based ISO consultancy. We are responsible for the personal information collected through this website. If you have a question about your data, email info@sbmsconsultancy-services.co.uk or use the enquiry form.

What we collect

• What you send through the enquiry form: your name, company, email address, phone number (optional), what you need help with and your message.
• If you become a client, the contact and business details we need to deliver the work.

We don't ask for sensitive information, so please don't include any in your message.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and give you a price.
• To deliver our services and manage our work with you.
• To keep the business records the law requires, such as invoices.

Under UK data protection law, we rely on our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, on our contract with you, and on our legal obligations.

Who we share it with

Only the services that help us run the website and business: our website host, which receives and stores form enquiries, and our email provider. They may only use your details to provide that service to us. We don't share your details with anyone else unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't lead to work are deleted within 12 months. Client records are kept for 6 years after our work ends, because tax and accounting rules require it.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how we use it. Email your request to info@sbmsconsultancy-services.co.uk or send it through the enquiry form, and we'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

This website doesn't use tracking, advertising or analytics cookies.

• The only thing it saves on your device is a small note that you've closed the cookie notice, so it doesn't keep appearing. It holds no personal information, and you can clear it in your browser settings at any time.
• The website's fonts load from Google Fonts. When a page opens, your browser connects to Google, which sees your device's internet address. Google doesn't set cookies for this.
• Our website host keeps standard server logs, such as internet addresses and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and working.

If we ever add analytics, we'll update this page and ask for your consent first.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we use your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
